HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Friday’s Stronach 5, featuring an industry-low 12-percent takeout, will have a guaranteed pool of $100,000 and races from Gulfstream Park and Laurel Park.

The Stronach 5 will have three races from Gulfstream, including two at a distance on the turf, and an allowance optional claimer for 2-year-olds at a mile featuring Juddmonte Farms Inc.’s Toledo and Gelfenstein Farm LLC’s Masterday.

The eighth race from Laurel, a seven furlong allowance optional event for 3-year-olds and up, will kick off the Stronach 5 sequence. The Laurel’s ninth race, the third leg of the sequence, has a field of eight 3-year-olds and up going 5 ½ furlongs.
