147th Preakness Stakes: Dress Smart, Dress Comfortably; Race Selections

While the Kentucky Derby showcased more of the traditional look of wide brim hats and elegant dresses, the Preakness Stakes is more suited to glamor and trendier fashion.

The look that dominated Derby Day are still a very acceptable but closely cropped short hats along with fascinators should be well represented. Women’s dresses should be fitted to the body to accentuate the contours of your curves.

With warming temps in the forecast men are better served wearing light weight suits and sport coats which can easily be removed for added comfort.

As with all Triple Crown races, Ladies and Gentleman should be Ladies and Gentleman and dress accordingly.

Remember, comfortable fashion is your first step to finding the winner!!
