Friday’s Rainbow 6 Carryover Jackpot Swells to $180,000
Jockey Luis Saez Makes Three Visits to Winner’s Circle

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 10th consecutive racing day Thursday, producing a carryover jackpot of $181,581.97 for Friday’s 10-race program at Gulfstream Park.

Multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $1,921.40 Thursday.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Betting on Thursday’s Rainbow 6 commenced with a carryover of $151,824. A total of $124,030.30 was wagered on Thursday’s six-race sequence.

Friday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 5-10.

Who’s Hot: Jockey Luis Saez rode three winners on Thursday’s card, winning back-to-back races with Tranquillo ($3.80) in the fifth and Sweet Ella ($6.80) in the sixth before scoring aboard Lilly’s Dream ($4) in the eighth.

Luca Panici also rode back-to-back winners, scoring aboard Love Conquers ($32.80) in the third and Kickn In ($17) in the fourth. Nik Juarez also doubled, winning with Bobby Blue Eyes ($11.40) in the first and What Power ($23.40) in the ninth.

Trainer Ron Spatz visited the winner’s circle with Bobby Blue Eyes in the first and Love Conquers in the third.
