FRIDAY: Handicapping the GI Maker’s 46 Mile

Nileator (1), Romans/Albarado; faded badly in last facing lesser.

Ballagh Rocks (2), Mott/Saez; makes first start since BC Mile, likes it here having finished a half-length in both the Grade 1 Shadwell and in this a year ago.

Forge (3), Mott/Rosario; turns back to a more favorable distance.

Tower of Texas (4); Attfield/Lezcano; has put together four straight solid starts winning twice along with a pair of thirds.

Frostmourne (5), Clement/Ortiz; I; is 3-for-3 at the distance and has won three of his last four starts; don’t overlook.

Heart to Heart (6), Lynch/Leparoux; exits a neck score in the Grade 1 Gulfstream Turf; placed here in both the Shadwell and Maker’s.

Mr. Misunderstood (7), Cox/Geroux; is a perfect 4-for-4 at the mile; top barn just got first Grade 1 victory this meet.

Next Shares (8), Baltas/Nakatani; raced wide last out in G1 Kilroe still managed to place; could be trouble late.

Om (9), Hendricks/Prat; tough competitor has finished in the money in 8-of-11 starts at the mile.

Hogy (10), Maker/Ortiz, J; enters having won 2-straight, the last at GP in the G3 Canadian.
