Other than one saver bet, I am not recommending you play against Justify (7) in the Preakness Stakes. If the race is formful (a most likely scenario), even the trifecta may offer a very low payout. I’m going to take a shot in the trifecta with a couple of longer shots in second place hoping for some value, but I’ll cover myself in the event that the race produces the same exacta as the Kentucky Derby.

Trifecta #1: 7 with 4,5,6 with 1,2,3,4,5,6,8 $18 for a dollar

Trifecta #2: 7 with 5 with 1,2,3,4,6,8 $12 for a $2 bet

Trifecta #3: 5 with 7 with 1,2,3,4,6,8 $6 for a dollar

Superfecta: 7 with 4,5,6 with 4,5,6 with 1,2,3,4,5,6,8 $15 for $.50

If you do not wish to wager $51 on this combination of bets, I would recommend playing trifecta #1 and the superfecta or the first two trifectas.

Good luck!
