HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream Park continues to grow.

The popular multi-race wager will have a carryover Sunday of $553,927.67.

First race post time is 1:15 p.m. The Rainbow 6 sequence will cover races 6 through 11 and include 3-year-olds and up in a maiden special weight going six furlongs, a $47,000 optional claimer at a mile for 3-year-olds and up, and two scheduled turf races.

Multiple tickets with six winners Saturday returned $12,029.52.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

The Rainbow 6 has gone unsolved for 15 straight racing days following the June 30 mandatory payout of a pool in excess of $4 million that yielded a $196,953.84 payoff for each ticket with all six winners.

Gulfstream Observes PDJF Day

Gulfstream Park marked Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund Day PDJF Day by presenting a check for $5,000 to the Gulfstream jockey colony after Saturday’s third race. PDJF is an independent public charity providing financial assistance to former jockeys who have suffered catastrophic on-track injuries.
