Pick 6 carryover of $63k at Saratoga Race Course set for Thursday

NYRA RELEASE —-

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Wednesday’s Pick 6 sequence at Saratoga Race Course went unsolved, triggering a carryover of $63,970 heading into Thursday’s card at the Spa.

Wednesday’s sequence commenced when Somelikeithotbrown (No. 2) returned $13 on a $2 win bet in Race 5. Tiznow’s Smile (No. 1) then blew up the sequence in Race 6 finishing with a late kick, returning $42.60 to win. In Race 7, Cape Angel (No. 7, $11.80) won under Luis Saez, followed by J J’s Dreaming (No. 1, $5) in Race 8. In the Quick Call, the day’s stakes race for 3-year-olds, post-time favorite World of Trouble (No. 1, $5.40) won his turf debut in front-running fashion. Wild Colonial Boy (No. 12, $8.60) then capped the day in Race 10.

A consolation payout of $1,523 was awarded to bettors who has five of six winners.

Thursday’s Pick 6 sequence will begin with Race 4 with a scheduled post time of 2:51 p.m. ET. The nine-race card has a first post time of 1 p.m.

Wagering on the Pick 6 is available through NYRA Bets, on-track, and Belmont Café, as well as simulcast facilities across the country.
