Three Saturday Carryovers at Gulfstream West
Rainbow 6 Carryover $33,000, Late Pick 5 Carryover $16,430

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Gulfstream Park West’s 10-race program Saturday will have a $33,819.65 carryover in the Rainbow 6, a $16,430.17 carryover in the Late Pick 5, and a $2,655.72 carryover in the Super Hi 5.
No one had six of six winners in the Rainbow 6 or five of five in the Late Pick 5 after Hogan’s Holiday returned $42.40 in the eighth race. Five of six winners returned $853.84 in the Rainbow 6 while four of five winners returned $211.85 in the Late Pick 5.
The Rainbow 6 sequence will begin in the fifth race, a maiden special weight event at six furlongs for 2-year-old fillies. The Late Pick 5 starts in the sixth race with claimers 3-year-olds and up going 1 1/16 miles on the turf.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
