Rainbow 6 Jackpot Rewards One Bettor $288,350
Winning Ticket Cost $9.60
Late Pick 5 Returns $11,844
Urdaneta Wins First Race in U.S.

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Gulfstream Park’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 was hit by one bettor Thursday for $288,350.74.
The winning ticket was: 4,7/4,8/1,7,9/1,7/10-11/7. The bet was made on TVG.
The Rainbow 6 kicked off with a $29.40 winner in Catsoutofthebag. The second leg was won by Flat Out Flying ($21.20) and the fifth leg by Lover’s Key ($62.40). Off Topic ($3.80) was one of three live tickets going into the last leg.
Bettors put $182,134 into Thursday’s Rainbow 6.
Friday’s Rainbow 6 sequence begins with the sixth race, a five furlong turf event for fillies and mares which have never won two races. First race post Friday is noon.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Thursday’s Late Pick 5, which had a carryover entering the day of $103,991.70, returned $11,844.55. There was $931,048 bet into the Late Pick 5.
Urdaneta Wins First Race in U.S.

Urdaneta, 37, said he was planning on staying for at least a month to “try my luck.” He had ridden 13 previous races at Gulfstream and Tampa Bay Downs.
