HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Saturday’s 12-race program at Gulfstream Park, featuring the $16 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Invitational Series, will also offer lucrative guaranteed pools for the Late Pick 4, the Late Pick 5 and the Rainbow 6.

First-race post time is set for 11:30 a.m. Parking gates open at 7 a.m. Doors open at 9 a.m.

The pool for the Late Pick 4 (Races 9-12) will be guaranteed at $1 million, while the Late Pick 5 (Races 8-12) and the 20-cent Rainbow 6 (Races 7-12) will offer guaranteed pools of $750,000. The Rainbow 6 pool will be guaranteed as long as the popular multi-race wager isn’t solved before Saturday.

The multi-race sequences for all three wagers will include the $9 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1), North America’s richest race carded as Race 12; and the $7 million Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (G1), North America’s richest turf race programmed as Race 11.

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 wager went unsolved for the 11th consecutive racing day Friday, producing a $606,194 carryover jackpot for Saturday’s program.

A total of $277,759 was bet into the popular multi-race wager, which began with a carryover of $482,491.50 from Thursday’s program. Multiple tickets with all six winners Friday were each worth $973.46.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Since the 2018-19 Championship Meet kicked off Dec. 1, the Rainbow 6 has been hit five times, most recently for a $188,900.81 payout Jan. 9.

Who’s Hot: Fresh off winning the Eclipse Award as outstanding jockey Thursday night, Irad Ortiz Jr. rode four winners Friday, scoring aboard Wildwood Dancer ($6.80) in Race 2, Braver Than We Are ($5.80) in Race 3, Balaban ($4.80) in Race 6 and Yako ($12.40) in Race 11.

Trainer Jorge Navarro pulled to within two victories of the 1000-win career milestone after saddling Wildwood Dancer for his Race 2 victory.

Rainbow 6 Carryover: $606,194.
