Once again New York-bred 2-year-old filles headline the Saratoga race card as a field of six go to post for the running of the Stillwater Stakes; let’s have a look at the starters.

Race 3) Stillwater Stakes 2yo Fillies 6 Furlongs Post Time 2:12 EDT

1) Jen’s Battle (Contessa/Franco); finished a mid-pack third in debut at Belmont; working quickly here.

2) Jewel of Arabia (Clement/Rosario); steady work tab to view for barn that hits at 14 percent with their first time starters.

3) Fierce Lady (Magner/Castellano); impressive in gate-to-wire debut win at Belmont; already a short price.

4) Classy Sadie (Contessa/Cancel); debuted on turf to show, then won in a rained-off versus a short field; as with her stable mate, a quick worker.

5) My Italian Rabbi (Englehart/Saez); pressed the pace then cleared the field in her maiden win; she’s rested and ready.

6) Time Limit (Maker/Ortiz, J); another exiting a solid debut win; trainer/jock both off to hot starts this meet.

Selections: 5, 3, 6, 4
