Arlington Park

Race 9) Grade 1 Beverly D Stakes 1&3/16ths Miles Turf F&M Post Time 4:53 CDT

7) Sistercharlie (Brown/Velazquez); Irish-bred mare out of Myboycharlie enters having won 4-straight Grade 1’s, including this contest a year ago and Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf. 5-year-old once again will come from off the pace to the winners’ circle.

1) Fleeting (O’Brien/Moore); 3-year-old filly exits three strong showings, highlighted by a second two back at Ascot; first lasix a plus.

(6) Magic Wand (O’Brien/Lordan); cross-entered in the Million, however a start here and she becomes rail foe’s main threat.

3) Competitionofideas (Brown/Castellano); money finishes in 9-straight, three consecutive seconds, last two missing by a neck.

8) Thais (Brown/Ortiz, I.); set the pace in this a year ago only to be caught by stablemate; had no answer last out to that one in G1 Diana.

Selections: 7, 1, (6), 3, 8
