Michael Dubb Monomoy Stables champion 5-year-old Monomoy Girl returns to racing to headline Churchill Downs opening day race card; first post 1pm EDT

(Please note: check scratch list due to an overabundance of early entries)

Race 1) 12, 10, 1, 4

Race 3) 9, 3, 4, 11 (AE add 13, 15 on top)

Post Time: ( 2:32)/ 1:32/12:32/11:32

2) Monomoy Girl; champion mare out of Tapizar returns to racing following an extended layoff
due to various ailments and the obvious Covid-19 delay. When last seen she was holding off
the likes of Wonder Gadot and Midnight Bisou to take the 2018 Breeders’ Cup Distaff, those
champions are not here today and though connections suggest she’s almost there, it’ll be
enough to take this group; your multi-race single.

Race 6) 9, 8, 3, 5 (AE add 16 with 11 as your longshot)

Race 7) 5, 1, 3, 12 (AE 14 with 9 as your longshot)

Race 8) 6, 7, 2, 1 (12 on scratches)

Race 9) 2, 1, 3, 9 (AE 15)

Race 10) 2, 11, 1, 6

Race 11) 8, 1, 3, 4
