6) Never Surprised (Pletcher/Ortiz, I.); Constitution colt is a perfect 2-for-2, the last a gate-to-wire stakes score at Aqueduct; that effort resulted in the field’s highest speed figure; trainer/jock combo 32 percent at the meet.
7) Kentucky Pharoah (Sisterson/Leparoux); enters on a 2-race win streak both here including the Dania Beach.
1)Chess’s Dream (Maker/Gaffalione); though his maiden win last out was over Florida-breds he’s placed twice on the course facing open company; connections tough on stakes days.
5) Chao (Joseph/Ortiz, J); missed by a neck two back then failed to threaten against similar last out; still an exotics keeper.
Selections: 6, 7, 1, 5

6) By George ( Clement/Ortiz, I); debut win at Aqueduct was a wire job; Clement with a last out maiden winner is 19 percent.
5) Drain the Clock (Joseph/Zayas); throw out his Delta Downs starts, lost rider, and he’s a perfect 3-for-3. Limehouse win in last was most impressive.
1) Likeable (Pletcher/Saez); Frosted colt will be ready to roll after a dismal BC Juvenile back in November.
Selections: 4, 6, 5, 1

6) Zaajel (Pletcher/Saez); debut win in December was by the book, just off solid pace then closed with authority; Pletcher/Saez 26 percent on the meet.
7) Coach Jer’s Joy (Joseph/Ortiz, I); Palace filly has been steadily for this since her debut score back in October; she’s ready.

4) Con Lima (Pletcher/Lopez); two straight wins, both here and at the route; Ginger Brew last out was a rough affair but she was determined.
2) Honey Pants (Clement/Ortiz, I); was also part of the bumping in the Brew and it cost her but she wasn’t going to catch the winner.
8) Director’s Cut (Casse/Saez); makes third start in the Casse barn and second off the layoff; slight turn back works in her favor.
5) White Frost (Mott/Alvarado); rested since Aqueduct win back in November; trainer/jock combo 24 percent at the meet.
