A field of eight three-year-old colts are scheduled for the starting gate in the running of the Grade 2 $1 million Rebel Stakes from beautiful Oaklawn Park. Many know the players, let’s find the contenders!

1) Caddo River (Cox/Geroux); out of Hard Spun, colt has made steady improvement each time out winning his last two, highlighted by his Smarty Jones score here in January. Move over Bob, Brad’s the man in Hot Springs.

7) Concert Tour (Baffert/Rosario); impressive in each of his two starts, however his late drifting in the San Vicente gives a slight concern of focus; judging by his morning works, Baffert seems to have him “re-focused”.

6) Keepmeinmind (Diodoro/Cohen); Laoban colt has been facing the deepest of fields leading up to this race, only drawback is this is his first start since his G2 Kentucky Jockey Club score last November; he’s got the skills, don’t be quick to dismiss.

2) Big Lake (Asmussen/Santana); son of American Pharoah enters having won two straight at today’s distance; form is on the upswing.
