Fair Grounds Racecourse and Slots once again hosts it’s Louisiana Champions Day where each stakes contests are run for a minimal 100k and up; weather could factor late so check for scratches.

3) Cilla – daughter of California Chrome suffered a tough beat last out in the G2 Raven Run at Keeneland, prior to that effort she had won 3 straight including a gut check win at Saratoga in the Grade 2 prioress.
5) Ova Charged – Star Guitar filly a winner of her last 3-of-4, dominated OC’s here last month; always tough barn, she’ll be in the mix.
1) Strong Beauty – filly has put together 5 straight strong efforts winning her last two; trainer with a last out winner hits at 26 percent.

6) Who Took The Money – Street Boss gelding wanted nothing to do last out with the Churchill slop, breaking last finishing last. 3-yea-old has shown in his brief career he can bounce and has been facing tougher.
3) Pound for Pound – owns very impressive Fair Grounds record of 9 4-3-0 and is 1-for-1 at today’s distance. Forwardly placed, they’ll have to catch him.
8) Highland Creek – Broken Vow 3-year-old fired fresh off the bench in last drawing away from Delta allowance company; strong trainer angles in play here.
1) Grand Luwegee – 6-year-old has enough to fill out exotics.

9) I’m a Cowboy Too – makes his 49th start so you can imagine it’s been up and down with his consistency; still he’s got enough in the tank for tri and super wagers.
