HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have a guaranteed jackpot pool of $1.5 million Saturday at Gulfstream Park, one of three guaranteed multi-race pools on the 13-race program.

First race post time is 12:35 p.m.

The Rainbow 6 has gone unsolved for 21 consecutive racing programs since it was last hit for $324,179.78 on Feb. 23.

The popular multi-race wager’s jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool. However, on days when a mandatory payout is scheduled the entire pool is shared by those holding tickets with the most winners.

A mandatory payout has been scheduled for Sunday April 2, closing day of the 2016-17 Championship Meet.

Saturday’s Rainbow 6 spans Races 8-13 and includes both of the day’s stakes: the $100,000 Skip Away (G3) for 4-year-olds and up in Race 12, and the $75,000 Any Limit for 3-year-old fillies in Race 11.

In addition to the Rainbow 6, there will be guaranteed pools of $250,000 in the Late Pick 4 (Races 10-13) and $200,000 in the Late Pick 5 (Races 9-13) on Saturday, as well as a Super Hi-5 carryover of $3,566.92 for the opener.

Kinsley Kisses Makes Triumphant Return in Friday Feature

Cheyenne Stables’ multiple graded stakes-placed Kinsley Kisses fashioned a successful start to her comeback by winning Friday’s featured ninth race, a $49,000 optional claiming allowance for fillies and mares 4 and older.

The 4-year-old Congrats filly got off slowly but was hustled to the lead by jockey Jose Ortiz and was in control through a quarter-mile in 22.93 seconds and a half in 46.01. They straightened for home in front and rolled through the stretch to hit the wire 1 ½ lengths ahead of Miss Away, going six furlongs in 1:10.98 over a fast main track.

Kinsley Kisses ($2.60) raced six times last year finishing third in the Beaumont (G3), Black-Eyed Susan (G2) and Delaware Park Oaks (G3) before getting time off following her seventh-place effort in the Test (G1) last August at Saratoga.

It was the second victory in as many starts at Gulfstream for Kinsley Kisses, a front-running 2 ¼-length debut winner last January.

Luis Saez won aboard Leopard Cat ($4.80) in the third and Gold Shark ($2.60) in the eighth to extend his meet lead to 98 victories, and Jose Lezcano doubled with Cite ($10.60) in the fourth and Class and Cash ($3.60) in the 10th.
