$1 million Pick 5 and $500,000 Pick 4 also on tap for Saturday’s Card

BALTIMORE — Saturday’s Preakness Day card will feature multiple guaranteed pools, highlighted by a $2 million Pick 4 that encompasses four stakes — races 10-13 — and is anchored by the 142nd running of the $1.5 million Preakness Stakes (G1).

Saturday’s 14-race card also boosts a $1 million guaranteed all-stakes Pick 5, which starts in Race 9 with the $150,000 Maryland Sprint (G3) and concludes with the Preakness, Race 13, and a $500,000 Pick 4 guarantee that commences in Race 6 with a starter allowance on the turf.

Along with the Preakness Stakes, the $2 million Pick 4 will encompass the $150,000 Stella Artois Gallorette (G3) for fillies and mares on the turf, the $100,000 LARC Sir Barton for 3-year-olds and the $250,000 Longines Dixie (G2) for 3-year-olds and up on the turf.

Post time for the Preakness is approximately 6:48 p.m. First post is 10:30 a.m. and doors open at 8 a.m.
