HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 12th straight racing day at Gulfstream Park Thursday, producing a $275,764 carryover jackpot for Friday’s 2:15 p.m. Twilight card.

Multiple tickets with five of six winners were each worth $1,803.30.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket sold, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

There will also be a Super Hi-5 carryover of $24,374 heading into Friday’s program, as well as a Late Pick-5 carryover of $33,836.21.

‘Big E’ Seeks ‘Conquest’ in Sunday’s Coast is Clear Handicap

Tommy Roberts’ Conquest Big E will seek to build on a most promising and dominating triumph in a recent optional claiming allowance when he faces five veteran runners in Sunday’s $50,000 Coast is Clear Handicap at Gulfstream.

Trained by Donna Green, the 4-year-old son of Tapit had shown enough early promise for his connections to put him on the Road to the Triple Crown last year, when he finished fourth in the Holy Bull (G2) at Gulfstream and fifth in the Gotham. On June 7, Conquest Big E won for the first times in nine starts since winning a Churchill allowance in November 2015, scoring by 8 ½ lengths at the Coast is Clear distance of a mile. Jilver Chamafi has the return mount.

Mylute, who finished third in the 2013 Preakness Stakes after a fifth-place finish in the Kentucky Derby, brings career earnings of $965,122 into the Coast is Clear. The Ralph Nicks-trained 7-year-old veteran finished third in the Jeblar Stakes at Gulfstream two starts back. Emisael Jaramillo has been named to ride the son of Midnight Lute.

Formerly trained by Todd Pletcher, Savoy Stomp is set to make his first start for Nicks in the Coast is Clear. The 5-year-old son of Medaglia d’Oro will seek his first win since March 2016 for Team Valor International and Southern Equine Stables Sunday in his first start of 2017. Tyler Gaffalione has the call.

Piloting, Very Very Stella and Hy Kodiak Warrior round out the field.
