TSV Selection —-

Race 12), 1„ Mile. HsklInv-G1 betfair.com Haskell Invitational S. OM HASKELL
INVITATIONAL S.. Grade I. Purse $1,000,000 FOR THREE-YEAR-OLDS.

Post Time: ( 5:47)/ 4:47/ 3:47/ 2:47
ADVANCED FORECAST: Mostly Sunny, High 80 Low 66.

Irish War Cry (1), took the Belmont Stakes field a long way only to come up two lengths back for second as the race favorite; trainer Motion with a beaten fave next out is 20 percent.

Battle of Midway (2), after showing at odds of 40-1 in the Kentucky Derby, Smart Strike colt continued his forward move next out taking the G3 Affirmed as the race favorite; be careful with this one.

Timeline (3), colt is a perfect 4-for-4, the last two in the Grade 3’s, the Peter Pan and Pegasus; both starts producing the field’s highest speed numbers. Trainer/jock are 27 percent together on the year.

Practical Joke (4), a 2-time Grade 1 winner as a juvenile, colt out of Into Mischief finally garnered his sophomore victory earlier this month in the Grade 3 Dwyer; he’ll be ready.

McCraken (5), started developing foot issues following his G3 Davis win at Tampa and really hasn’t been right until last out in clearing the G3 Matt Winn field at Churchill; this guy was at the top of everybody’s Derby list until Blue Grass, so watch out.

Hence (6), you can never ignore anything from the Asmussen barn, however this Street Boss colt appears at this time to be just a notch below his “classmates”.

Girvin (7), did all the work last out in the Ohio Derby only to lose a head-bob at the wire. This is his best distance, and now with his “foot-issues” behind him as well, along with jock change to Robby Albarado, he’ll be there at the line.

Selections: 5, 7, 3, 1
