It’s rare to find three horse starting field’s in any race much less a Graded Stakes from Saratoga, but that’s what we have here in the running of the Grade 3 Shuvee Handicap for fillies and mares; let’s take a look at the starters.

Race 1), 1„ Mile. Grade III. Purse $200,000 A HANDICAP FOR
FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD

Post Time: ( 1:00)/12:00/11:00/10:00 ADVANCED FORECAST: Mostly Sunny, High 81 Low 59.

Apologynotaccepted (1), Mott/Saez; in 6-year-old’s first graded start last month, she took the Fleur de Lis field deep into the stretch before fading to second less than two lengths out; it won’t take much for her to move forward here.

Paid Up Subscriber (2), Brown/Velazquez, J; was game but finished second last out in the Grade 1 Ogden Phipps; she posted a very quick bullet here here last week for a trainer that’s hitting at 24 percent this meet.

Terra Promessa (3), Asmussen/Ortiz, J; exits a dominating win in the Grade 3 DuPont, a contest run at today’s route; giving her the nod based on last.

Selections: 3, 1, 2
