(Editor’s Note: The Late Pick-4 begins with race 8, post times are:( 5:10)/ 4:10/ 3:10/ 2:10)

Race 9) 1„ Mile. Whitney-G1 Whitney S. Grade I. Purse $1,200,000 FOR THREE YEAR OLDS
AND UPWARD

Post Time: ( 5:46)/ 4:46/ 3:46/ 2:46
ADVANCED FORECAST: Thunderstorms Likely, High 79 Low 57

Gun Runner (6): If it was not for the best horse of our generation Arrogate, he is your Dubai World Cup champion. The outside post will allow him to do whatever he wants.

Keen Ice (5): He always runs his race and gets in the money; he is coming off the best race of his career and gets the track he pulled a shocker on in the Travers. If someone has a shot to beat the Champ its him.

Tu Brutus (4): Ran two impressive races before going flat in the Brooklyn, he deserves another look at a price here.

Race 10) 1 Mile. (Inner Turf) Fasig-Tipton De La Rose S. Purse
$100,000 INNER TURF FOR FILLIES AND MARES FOUR YEARS OLD AND UPWARD

Sassy Little Lila (2): Takes the drop from the Just a Game to this spot and looks to be the lone speed on the front end; she will be tough to run down.

Boreale (5): Trainer Graham Motion is very good with spotting these types when they come from over seas, if he is electing to go to a stake off the win at Delaware, take notice.

On Leave (7): Third off the layoff, she is primed for a monster effort here but with not much speed singed on, she will have a lot to do.

Race 11) 7 Furlongs. OC 62500n2x Purse $90,000 (UP TO $16,200 NYSBFOA) FOR THREE
YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD

Always a Suspect (4): Mclaughlin has been ready with this type of runner all meet long and I’m expecting a big effort out of this one off the brief freshening.

Mo Town (6): Maybe he was just always meant to go shorter; he was highly regarded as a two-year-old and attracts one of the leading jockeys at the current meet.

Neolithic (7): Coming back from the race in Dubai which will make him over bet; he is better going longer. This looks like a tune-up for the Woodward closing weekend.

Race 8 .50 Pick-4
5,6,8/ 6 / 2,5,7,8/ 4,6,7 = $18
