Race 8), 6 Furlongs. Tale of the Cat S. Purse $100,000 FOR THREE YEAR
OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON A GRADED SWEEPSTAKE IN 2017.

Post Time: ( 5:02)/ 4:02/ 3:02/ 2:02
ADVANCED FORECAST: Thunderstorms, High 82 Low 63.

Loose On the Town (1), Lynch/Castellano;
broke awkwardly last out in first dirt start in almost a year, recovered to finish second; gets Castellano back who was aboard for two of his four career victories.

Cadeyrn (2), Englehart/Franco; makes first start since besting Belmont OC’s back in May; that was a solid effort off the layoff, a 26 percent training angle, and owns a first and third from his two Saratoga starts.

Weekend Hideaway (3), Serpe/Saez; held going a mile in the mud at Belmont, also back in May; 7-year-old is a twelve time winner with four of those wins coming here.

Chief Lion (4), Jacobson/Lopez; after placing in the G2 Tom Fool at Aqueduct, he’s weakened in each of his last two, the latter try coming in the Grade 2 True North; passing.

Candid Desire (5), Sciacca/Lezcano; didn’t take to the muddy Belmont main in last; is winless from five starts here.

Stallwalkin’Dude (6), Jacobson/Bravo; throw out veteran’s distant fourth in the G2 Belmont Sprint last month; he loves this distance, 18 in the money finishes with nine wins, however his last several works are not the best but he always shows up when the gates open.

Candip (7), Tomilson/Carmouche; faded badly last out after being on the sidelines for seven months; he’ll improve here and enters off a speedy bullet at Churchill before shipping in.

Selections: 3, 6, 7, 1.
