Nonna Mela (4), Pletcher/Castellano; 2016’s Grade 2 Adirondack winner drew away from OC’s here last month; formidable.

Vertical Oak (5), Asmussen/Velazquez; winner of the G3 Miss Preakness weakened late here in the G1 Test; jock change makes her dangerous in this spot.

Dawn the Destroyer (6), McLaughlin/Rosario; destroyed a short field in the slop here in July; back-to-back bullets in prep for this.
