TAMPA BAY DOWNS TO CLOSE SUNDAY AND MONDAY DUE TO IRMA

OLDSMAR, FL. – Due to the impending threat from Hurricane Irma, Tampa Bay Downs, The Silks Poker Room and The Downs Golf Practice Facility will be closed Sunday and Monday.

Tampa Bay Downs will remain open throughout Friday, with The Downs Golf Practice Facility closing at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, The Downs Golf Practice Facility will be open from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tampa Bay Downs will conclude Saturday’s simulcast racing action at 7:30 p.m. The Silks Poker Room will close at 10 p.m.

Tampa Bay Downs currently plans to re-open Tuesday, but that is contingent on hurricane-related issues.
Updates will be available on the track’s Facebook page (Tampa Bay Downs, Inc.) and on Twitter ( @TampaBayDownsFL ).
