Tom’s Ready (1), Stewart/Rosario; exits a solid go running third in the Grade 1 Forego last out, an effort that saw him close from last of ten; board dangerous.

Tommy Macho (2), Pletcher/Bravo; after four straight show finishes, all in graded contests, 5-year-old flattened in last running seventh in the Forego; can return to show form.

Ross (3), Schiergen/Maragh; Irish-bred gets first lasix following his last place finish in the Forego; only one win from last fifteen starts.

Divining Rod (4), Delacour/Centeno; caught in last jump for third place in the Forego; Tapit 5-year-old, missed by a head in the Grade Cigar Mile, loves this distance; gets the nod.

Sharp Azteca (5), Navarro/Lopez; Freud colt is another that welcomes the return to the mile, having won four along with a second and third from six tries; consistently posts top speed figures, but he can be had here, nevertheless have to include in all plays.

Bird Song (6), Wilkes/Leparoux; winner of the G2 Alysheba,has struggled in his last two, finishing last in the Grade 1 Foster and a distant fourth last out in the Vanderbilt.
