Race 1: 7-3-1
Race 2: 4-11-3-2-9
Race 3: 10-12-2-3-5
Race 4: 6-1-7
Race 5: 3-7-4

Race 6) Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf

Happily (2): She is coming to America with wins in 4 of her last 5 starts and has not had a poor effort since her debut. She will be able to use her tactical speed to her advantage with an inside post draw, the Americans will have to run to beat her.

Rushing Fall (11): She is the best of the Americans but I am concerned she will have too much to do with her deep closing running style on a turf course that plays kind to speed.

Capla Temptress(7): Won her first start in the states under the care of Marco Botti and now switches over to the Mott barn. She will have to improve her speed figures to win this race but there is no reason she cannot with the addition of Lasix.

Significant Form(8): The “other” Chad Brown runner who has tactical speed and will be able to use it to her advantage over a course which does favor speed.

Race 7) Las Vegas Breeders Cup Dirt Mile

Awesome Slew (5): Has had a very strong year and shows back class at two turns; if it gets hot up front he will be the one coming from the back of the pack to blow up the tote board.

Accelerate (8): There is a lot to like about Accelerate, he is 3-for-4 over the Del Mar surface and loves the mile distance. This summer he was dominant in the San Diego Handicap winning by four lengths over one of likely favorites in the Classic, Arrogate.

Sharp Azteca (3): He showed that he is able to get the two turns with the win at Monmouth this July, and has the ability to put on freakish performances.

Mor Spirit (6): He is 3-for-3 at the distance including possibly the performance of the year thus far when dominating Met Mile in June at Belmont. Baffert first’s at huge numbers off layoffs into graded stakes competition.

Race 8) Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf

Beckford (5): Last out he ran 3rd in the Grade 1 Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes, however he was favored over US Navy Flag who would have been the favorite had he ran here and not in the Juvenile. The addition of Lasix and jockey Joel Rosario, who spent many years on the California circuit; 8-1 is too good to pass on here.

Masar (6): Has not run a bad race in four career starts and gets back to Godolphin main rider William Buick; he has kept company with some of the classiest in Europe.

Mendelssohn (1): Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore have combined to win this race a few times and it looks like they bring yet another live runner here.

My Boy Jack (13): The turf really woke this one up in his last three starts; he has had a rising speed figure in each start and always puts in his run. If the race falls apart and someone is weaving through horses, there’s not many I want more than Kent Desormeaux.

Race 9) Longines Breeders Cup Distaff

Forever Unbridled (6): She was only beaten a length in this race last year to Beholder and Songbird and has put together a strong year winning both of her starts. She was managed perfectly in getting to this race in terrific order and has a huge shot. Love the pickup of Johnny V to ride, you are ensured a good ride in the big race with him.

Elate (5): If a 3-year-old is going to step up and win here it looks like she is the one to do it. She should have been put up after losing to Abel Tasman in the Coaching Club Oaks but has since come back run to big efforts. She reminds me a lot of Royal Delta coming into the race for Mott.

Stellar Wind (2): This is her race to lose this year; she has the home field advantage being 3-for-3 over the track, and does not have to see the likes of Beholder or Songbird.

Paradise Woods (7): She is a horse that loves to be on the lead and her only poor starts this year were in the slop and a race when she didn’t make the lead. If they let her walk on the front end it will be tough to run her down.

Race 10) 5-1-2-9

Suggested Pick 5 Races 1-5

Option 1: 1,3,7/ 2,3,4,9,11/2,3,10,12/1,6,7/ 3,7 = $ 180
Option 2: 3,7/ 2,3,4,11/ 2,3,10,12/ 1,6/3,7 = $ 64

Suggested Breeders Cup Pick 4 Races 6-9

2,7,8,10,11/ 3,5,8/ 1,5,6,13 / 5,6 = $60

2,7,11/ 3, 5,6,8/ 1,5,6,13 / 2,5,6,7 = $96

Suggest Pick 4 Races 7-10
3,5,6,8/ 1,5,6,13 / 2,5,6,7/ 1,2,5 = $96
