Churchill Downs

Race 11) Grade 1 Clark Handicap 3YO & UP 1&1/8th Miles Post Time 5:56 EST

Hoppertunity (1), competitive Grade 1 winner disappointed last out finishing a distant second against Santa Anita overnighters; ran a dismal fourth in this a year ago; always a quick work tab to view.

Seeking the Soul (2), followed up his close third in the Lukas Classic with a nice win over Keeneland OC’s last out; don’t overlook this guy.

Good Samaritan (3), after taking the Jim Dandy in a gallop, colt has struggled in last two, the Travers and Jockey Gold Cup.

Destin (4), steady stakes player exits a game win in the Grade 2 Marathon at Del Mar, a suggestion he may the “classic” distances and longer.

Goats Town (5), colt has been run hard this year and but does exit his lone 2017 win; can’t endorse one making their twelfth race on the year against this field.

Mo Tom (6),
blinkers come off in what maybe his final career start; pass.

The Player (7), has put together three straight strong efforts culminating with a clearing score last out in the G2 Fayette; colt will be in the mix.

Honorable Duty (8), exits a dull try in the Fayette, which however followed three solid performances including a dominating win in the Lukas; loves this track.

Diversify (9), rolls in on a 3-race win streak, the last two posting the field’s highest speed figures; Jockey Gold Cup winner’s form stays true here for the win.

Selections: 9, 2, 8, 7
