Gun Runner To School In Fair Grounds Paddock During 4th Race

BREEDERS’ CUP CLASSIC WINNER AND HORSE OF THE YEAR FINALIST GUN RUNNER TO SCHOOL IN FAIR GROUNDS PADDOCK DURING THURSDAY’S FOURTH RACE

NEW ORLEANS (January 10, 2018) – Winchell Thoroughbreds LLC’s Grade I Breeders’ Cup Classic winner and finalist for 2017 Horse Of The Year Gun Runner is scheduled to school in the Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots’ paddock during the fourth race on Thursday afternoon, which has a slated post time of 2:34 PM central time. Gun Runner will make the final start of his stellar career in the $16 million Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream Park on Jan. 27 before going off to stud at Three Chimneys Farm, where he will stand for a stud fee of $70,000.
