GULFSTREAM

Race 8) CLAIMING : $16,000 7 1/2 Furlongs Turf Post Time 3:30 EST

Famous Fact (4): Steps up after winning easily in the Clm 16,000N2L to the N3L condition and gets a softer field; with a repeat effort he will be in the mix at a very fair price of 8-1 m-l

Sound Values (7): Just missed at this condition last out and is the one to beat third off the layoff.

IL Faraone (6): He just missed at this level at a huge price but gets a major upgrade in jockey to Saez. He will be rolling late if the race falls a part.

Race 9) Grade III Marsha’s River 1 1/16 Miles | Fillies and Mares | 4 Year Olds And Up

Gianna’s Dream (5): The lack of pace in the race will make her tough.

Abbreviate (4):She should be much better suited going two turns here then she was sprinting in her last. She is clearly very talented and this will be her first true test here.

Dream Dancing (8):
This runner is very pace dependent and with the lack of pace in the race she will be up against it; however she is the class of the race and must be considered.

Race 10) 6 Furlongs | Open | 4 Year Olds And Up | CLAIMING : $6,250 | PURSE: $19,000

I do not like this race at all and would consider using ALL if your budget can afford it.

Race 11) Grade II Ft. Lauderdale 1 1/16 Miles | Open | 4 Year Olds And Up | G2 STAKES | PURSE: $200,000

Heart to Heart (3): Far and way the one to beat and class of the race. He always beats up on this type of quality and has won 4 of 5 career starts at Gulfstream.

All Included (6): He is capable of winning this race if the pace gets hot up front. He always runs his race and puts in a late run but I don’t see it being good enough to beat Heart to Heart.

Team Colors (7): The cut back in distance should help him run a better race over a firm course which he did not see in his last.

Race 12) 1 1/16 Miles | Open | 3 Year Olds | ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING : $75,000 | PURSE: $51,000

Sand Dancer (2): Ran a game race off the layoff to almost overcome a bad trip, he should be fitter second off the layoff. The 12-1 on the morning line surprised me and I expect about half of that.

Storm Runner (10): Finally broke through in 4th career start and should continue to step forward.

Ceevee (9): First time turf did the trick but I don’t like going against horses who are undefeated doing on turf.

Maraud (4): Is the class of the race but not sure he beat much when breaking his maiden this summer; has yet to move forward off that effort.

Suggested Pick 5

4,7/ 4,5,8/ All (14) / 3 / 2,4,9,10 = $168
