HORSE OF THE YEAR FINALIST GUN RUNNER TO LOG HIS FINAL FAIR GROUNDS BREEZE BEOFRE SUNDAY’S FIRST RACE

NEW ORLEANS (January 12, 2018) – Winchell Thoroughbreds LLC’s Grade I Breeders’ Cup Classic winner and finalist for 2017 Horse Of The Year Gun Runner is scheduled to work over the Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots one final time on Sunday, January 14 before the first race, which has a post time of 1:00 PM central time. He is scheduled to fly out on Thursday, Jan. 18 for Gulfstream Park where he will make the final start of his stellar career in the Gr. I $16 million Pegasus World Cup on Jan. 27. Following the Pegasus World Cup, he will assume stallion duties at Three Chimneys Farm in Lexington, Ky. where he will carry a $70,000 stud fee.
