Hot Springs, Ark. (Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018) – Oaklawn management has cancelled Thursday’s nine-race card due to frigid temperatures. Central Arkansas has been experiencing near record lows since Monday night and for the safety of the horses and horsemen, the decision to cancel racing was made.

Oaklawn will remain open for gaming and simulcast racing. The game room will remain open until 3 a.m.

Live racing is scheduled to resume Friday with a 1:30 p.m. first post.
