BLACK GOLD CARRYOVER REACHES $118,980 INTO CLOSING DAY WITH A MANDATORY PAYOUT

NEW ORLEANS (March 30, 2018) – A pair of lofty carryover pools on wagers with mandatory closing day payouts will wet the appetite of horseplayers nationwide at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots on Saturday. The Black Gold Five Jackpot pool stands at $118,980 while the Super High Five is up to $12,253.

With a dozen races on the closing day card, the Black Gold Five sequence will be races 8-12. A 50-cent minimum wager, the Black Gold Five challenges bettors to correctly select the winners of five consecutive races.

The Super High Five will be offered in the 12th and final race of the day. Also a 50-cent minimum wager, the Super High Five tasks horseplayers to correctly select the top five finishers of that race (race 12 in this case) in the exact order.

With mandatory payouts in both wagers, all patrons with correct tickets will share not only in the lofty carryover, but also in dollars bet into those respective pools tomorrow.
