TSV Staff Selections —-

Indiana Grand

Race 8) Grade 3 Indiana Oaks 3yo Fillies 1&1/16th Miles Post Time 9:01 EDT

6) Kelly’s Humor – quietly working for this spot; showed significant improvement last out placing against pricey OC’s at Churchill. Who has been hotter this year than Brad Cox… and who has been hotter with their main rider (Geroux), not many.

5) Talk Veuve to Me – filly out of Violence has placed in her last two, the G2 Eight Belles and a strong second to filly of the year Monomoy Girl in the Grade 1 Acorn; she’ll be the one to beat.

8) Figarella’s Queen – Medaglia d’Oro filly’s return to the main track last out proved to be the move, as she sat just of the leaders, closed and edged away; Albarado gets the call.

2) Haynesfest – Haynesfield filly brings it each time out, just hasn’t got there in each of her last three. This is the spot connections were looking for, as trainer Tom Amoss is a whopping 39 percent at the meet and an equally strong 28 percent on the year; an exotics must.

The field from the rail out:

1) Molecules (Mullins/Bermudez)
2) Haynesfest (Amoss/Canchari)
3) Harbor Light (Asmussen/Santana)
4) Diamondcoat (Gorder/De La Cruz)
5) Talk Veuve to Me (Brisset/Leparoux)
6) Kelly’s Humor (Cox/Geroux)
7) Skeptic (Arnold/Hernandez)
8) Figarella’s Queen (Cox/Albarado)

Selections: 6, 5, 8, 2
