Saratoga

Race 8) 7 Furlongs Longines Test S. Grade I. Purse $500,000 FOR FILLIES THREE YEARS OLD
Post Time: ( 5:10)/ 4:10/ 3:10/ 2:10 ADVANCED FORECAST: Chance Rain Showers, High 82 Low 65

Separation of Powers (6): Lost all chance at the start in the Victory Ride when she was left at the gate.

Mia Mischief (7): Did all the dirty work only to see her win streak come to an end, expecting a bounce back effort here.

Cathedral Reader (5): trainer Dallas Stewart has been known to pop at a big number he brings this one in off 2 races and she’ll be running late.

Race 9) 1&1/8th Mile Whitney S. Grade I. Purse $1,200,000 FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD

Backyard Heaven (2): Not sure how this odds maker thinks this horse is going off 9/2, he IS the one to beat, don’t let the morning line fool you.

Tapwrit (1): Sneaky player here third off the layoff on the turn back who should be sitting in a good stalking position from the inside post.

Diversify (6): If he didn’t run such a big hole in the wind last out he would be considered for the top spot but we might see a bounce here.

Race 10) 1½ Mile. (Inner Turf) Fasig-Tipton Waya S. Grade III. Purse $200,000 FOR FILLIES AND MARES

Violet Blue (6): Had a tough trip in the River Memories Stakes at Belmont and is too big of a price to ignore for the top slot.

Lottie (8): Comes in for trainer Graham Motion off the freshening with a narrow defeat to Holy Helena and should be ready to roll here.

Santa Monica (5): The one to beat here for Chad Brown and Jose Ortiz, but not a standout over this field at a short price.

Race 11) 1&1/16th Mile. (Turf) Fasig-Tipton Lure S. Purse $100,000 FOR FOUR-YEAR-OLDS AND UPWARD

Zennor (7): has not been seen since winning this race last year but we all know Kiaran McLaughlin points to this meet and he will be ready to rock.

Mr. Cub (3): was run down in his last race prior to having a 3 race win streak but should be forwardly placed here and have every stop to hold off the closers.

Voodoo Song (8): has a love for the Spa with 4 wins over the course last summer and should be dangerous in here but might get over bet.

NYRA bets pick 5 Races 7-11
1,2,4,5,6,7/ 6,7/ 2 / 4,5,6,8 / 1,2,3,6,7,8,10 = $168

Pick 4 Race 8-11
6,7/ 1,2/ 4,5,6,8/ 1,2,3,6,7,8,10 = $56
