1) Promises Fulfilled, (Romans/Saez); dominated the Grade 3 Amsterdam in last, will fire again. o

8) Firenze Fire, (Servis/Ortiz, I); his G3 Dwyer victory last out proved the distance cutback worked; next out starters for Servis off a win, 29 percent.

3) Engage, (Brown/Ortiz, J); never worse than second in seven career starts; beaten fave’s next out for Brown, 30 percent.

9) Funny Duck, (Arnold/Hernandez, B); will like this distance.

Selections: 1, 8, 3, 9

Race 7) Grade I Personal Ensign F&M 1&1/8th Miles Post Time 2:59 EDT

1) Abel Tasman (Baffert/Smith);
multiple Grade 1 winner tuned up nicely for this when she rolled over the Grade Ogden Phipps field; won’t be denied.

6) Elate (Mott/Ortiz, J); finished a game head behind Tasman in the CCA here a year ago; enters off an equally strong performance taking the G2 Delaware Handicap.

5) Farrell (Catalano/Hill); returned her backers with a nice payout winning the Grade 3 Shuvee at odds of 9-1; brings value to an otherwise short exotics play.
