WOODBINE

Race 8) G1 Ricoh Woodbine Mile Stakes (TURF) Post Time 4:43 EDT

6) Lord Glitters (O’Meara/Spencer) – major player on the English circuit enters off a solid Group 3 score at York; 5-year-old just missed in the prestigious Queen Anne at Ascot back in June and has finished in the money in all seven of his mile attempts. Along with first time lasix and the return of rider Spencer, this gelding out of Whipper looms large.

3) Delta Prince (Jerkens/Castellano) – Street Cry 5-year-old won the G2 King Edward here in June and exits a gut check second in the Grade 1 Fourstardave at Saratoga; is a 4-time winner at the route; Castellano stays.

5) Mr Havercamp (Phillips Day/Da Silva) – 4-year-old out of Court Vision is a perfect 4-for-4 here, including a last out surging win in the Grade 2 Play King, contested over a yielding course.

7) Oscar Performance (Lynch/Ortiz, J) – multiple Grade 1 winner was vanned off in the Arlington Million but appears to be back on sound footing following a series of solid works over the Oklahoma track at Saratoga. Connections would never risk the health of this 4-year-old Kitten’s Joy colt; he’ll be ready.

8) Divisdero (Rubley/Toledo) – Kitten’s Joy 6-year-old has had a solid 2018 campaign, winning the G3 Arlington Handicap and hitting the board in both the Fourstardave and G2 Monmouth; however he just seems to come up short, maybe the return to the mile route gets him more engaged earlier which will make him a threat late.

Selections: 6, 3, 7, 8
