$50,000 Guaranteed Pool with Industry-Low 12-Percent Takeout
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Friday’s inaugural running of The Stronach 5, featuring five races at four tracks with a guaranteed pool of $50,000 and an industry-low takeout of 12 percent, has drawn competitive fields from coast-to-coast on both turf and dirt.
To help you handicap the national wager, Jason Blewitt hosts a comprehensive Stronach 5 preview and checks in with analysts Michelle Yu at Santa Anita Park, Tim Tullock at Laurel Park, Acacia Courtney at Gulfstream Park and Matt Dinerman at Golden Gate Fields.
The Stronach 5, an action-packed national wager that will take place within approximately 45 minutes, begins at 5:26 p.m. ET with Race 9 at Laurel (nine horses). The sequence then goes to Race 4 at Santa Anita (11 horses), Race 8 at Gulfstream (11 horses), Race 4 at Golden Gate (10 horses) and finishes with Race 9 at Gulfstream (11 horses).

The Stronach 5 will also be shown live on all track simulcast feeds The first 100 fans who buy a program Sept. 28 at Gulfstream, Santa Anita, Laurel or Golden Gate Fields will be awarded a Quick Pick ticket on the Stronach 5.
For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
