Race 6) American Pharoah Stakes 2yo

Rowayton (1): Looked like a sure winner mid stretch in the Del Mar Futurity until Game Winner got there in the final furlong. I am going to try and reverse the result here and see if we can get him to wire the field.

Game Winner (4): Should have no problem stretching out to two turns for his Breeders’ Cup prep. He will and gets Rosario back, who was on board for his maiden victory, and is in town for Accelerate.

Sigalert (5): Another who’s coming out of the Del Mar Futurity who I’m looking forward to seeing stretch out to two turns. While he was beaten 10 lengths in that race he should improve going two turns.

Race 9) Chandelier Stakes 2yo Fillies

Der Lu (5): Was the real deal and lived up to all the hype she got first out. She should enjoy the move to two turns they will have to catch her to win.

Del Mar May (2): I know the connections were very high on this one over the summer and I like the aggression they are showing by going right back to stakes company while still a maiden.

Brill (4): She was the talk of the town opening day at Del Mar and I’m not sure why she ran so poorly in her second start but we will give her another shot here.

Bellafina (6): She’s going back to no blinkers which resulted in her only loss. I don’t like that this will be her 4th race in under 4 months for a lightly raced horse she might regress here.
