Rainbow 6 Jackpot Grows to $103,182 for Saturday

Noon First Post for 11-Race Program

MIAMI GARDENS, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved Friday at Gulfstream Park West, growing the carryover jackpot to $103,182.09 for Saturday’s 11-race program.

Two horses were live to take down the jackpot heading into the ninth race finale, won by Armonico ($22.20). Multiple tickets with all six winners Friday were worth $9,213.06.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Saturday’s Rainbow 6 spans Races 6-11. First race post time is noon.

There will also be a carryover of $3,526.93 in the $1 Super Hi-5 for Saturday’s opener.

Mandatory payouts of the Rainbow 6, Late Pick 5 and last-race Super Hi-5 pools are scheduled for Sunday, the closing day of Gulfstream Park West’s Fall Turf Festival Live racing in South Florida will resume Saturday, Dec. 1, when Gulfstream Park will kick off its 90-day Championship Meet.

Gulfstream Park West is a Stronach Group company, North America’s leading Thoroughbred racetrack owner/operator.
