GULFSTREAM TODAY 12.20.18

Rainbow 6 Carryover Jackpot Stands at $12,753
Hernandez, Jaramillo Each Double

HALLANDALE, BEACH – Betting on the 20-cent Rainbow 6 started anew Thursday at Gulfstream Park following the $580,349.19 jackpot strike by an XpressBet bettor.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Friday’s Rainbow 6 Sequence will span Races 5-10. Race 8, Race 9 and Race 10 will also be included in the Stronach 5 sequence that will also include Laurel Park’s Race 8 and Race 9.

Who’s Hot: Brian Hernandez Jr. continued his hot riding during his first Championship Meet, doubling aboard Miss Accuse ($4.20) in Race 5 and Rose Tree ($6) in Race 8. Emisael Jaramillo also doubled, scoring aboard Nikki Bella ($3) in Race 2 and Dupree ($4.80) in Race 4.

Rainbow 6 Carryover Jackpot: $12,753.96
