FAIR GROUNDS

Race 11) Silverbulletday Stakes

Cowgirls Like Us (6): Has been very impressive in her last three starts and will be ready to fire second off the layoff.

Mandy Blue (7): This one is two for two lifetime and goes out for last year’s Oaks winning trainer. She is untested and must prove it here but this barn knows how to win.

Liora (4): Enters the races as a strong favorite off back to back wins including a win in the G2 Golden Rod. They will have to run her down if they want to win here.

Race 12) Grade III LeComte Stakes

War of Will (8): Has been knocking heads with top quality horses on both turf and dirt before finally putting it together in his last He should be able to sit a nice stalking trip right off the early speed.

Tight Ten (11): In the Breeders Cup Juvenile he was never allowed to run his race after the poor start and I’m looking to give him another chance. The post is the question here, he will want to be forwardly placed so he must be used early to be near the lead. If he has enough at the end he is a logical contender in a very deep race.

Plus Que Parfait (12): Just missed in the Kentucky JC Stakes and should be a little more forwardly placed here but has the ability to take back and make one run. I like the tactical ability of this runner who has shown he can adapt to any style.

Race 13) Duncan Kenner Stakes

Wynn Time (6): The morning line says it all about this one, he is every bit of 3/5 in this field and will be very hard to beat with his favorable outside draw.

Kowboy Karma (1): A consistent runner filling out the exacta in 7 of 10 career starts but will have to improve to beat the top choice.

Control Stake (3): His best race puts him in the mix here but he has not been in good form of late, hopefully the time off and switch to Santana will wake him up.

Race 14)

Three Run Homer (1): Bred to win early for a barn that has a lot of success with first time starters in maiden special weights. We should get all of 8/1 in this spot.

Jus Lively (2): Comes in off a bullet work for trainer Steve Assmussen who usually fires with some big time first time starters at the meet will will use a few to try and beat the heavy chalk.

Inspector Eddie (7): Ran a good race in his first career start and will be looking to build on that however will be a very short price but a must use in pick 4 plays.

.50 Pick-4
4,5,6,7/ 2,3,4,6,8,10,11,12/ 6 / 1,2,7,8,9 = $ 80
