Wednesday’s Rainbow 6 Carryover Jackpot Soars to $1.9 Million

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot at Gulfstream Park grew to $1,900,013 for Wednesday’s program when the popular multi-race wager went unsolved for 23rd consecutive racing day Sunday.

First-race post time for Wednesday’s card is set for 1:15 p.m.

A total of $547,868 was bet into the popular multi-race wager, which began with a pool of $1,768,553.06 carried over from Saturday’s card. Multiple tickets with all six winners Sunday were each worth $2,487.94.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Since the 2018-19 Championship Meet kicked off Dec.1, the Rainbow 6 has been hit seven times, most recently for a $227,505.88 payout Feb. 15.

Who’s Hot: Tyler Gaffalione scored a triple, scoring aboard Venezuelan Forever ($13) in Race 4, W. W. Concerto ($6.40) in Race 9 and Empty Sky ($14.40) in Race 12.
