Race 10) Grade II New Orleans Handicap

Mr.Buff (8): Has been on an absolute tear of late. With the lack of pace presence in the field he has a very good chance to take them gate to wire for the NY connections.

Copper Bullet (10): Narrowly beaten last out to Coal Front who is likely to go favored in Dubai and is an absolute freak when he is right. This one has to be given serious consideration.

Lone Sailor (2): Last time out I thought he needed one off the Breeders Cup layoff but he should be ready to fire here for Amoss and Graham who are firing at a 22% clip together on the meet.

Race 11) Grace II Muniz Memorial

Synchrony (3): He has never lost over this course in four tries and his wins include this race last year. It is hard for me to go against him on this course till someone takes him down.

Bricks and Mortar (7): Ran the best race of his career second off the layoff when taking the Pegasus Turf and should be primed here the only problem is he will be a big chalk.

Inspector Lynley (8): Ran a big one to win last out at Tampa and has some back numbers that can beat this field. He can not be over looked at a bigger price then my top two.

Race 12) Grace II Fair Grounds Oaks

Serengeti Empress (2): She buried the same field when she was not cranked last time out with another step forward here she will head to the oaks as one of the horses to beat.

Slewgoodtobetrue (7): Comes in off back to back wins at Santa Anita this is a step up in class here however I wanted to try someone else who did not already lose to our top pick and that’s the primary reason we land here.

Eres Tu (2): Ran a big race off the troubled trip at a big price and should be able to improve upon that race.

Race 13) Grade II Louisiana Derby

Country House (8): Was second behind today’s heavy favorite but has room to improve still if you watch the replay he was as green as they come. Mott is as loaded as anyone with Derby horses and this might be his one with most room to improve.

Spinoff (10): Pletcher doesn’t ship if they aren’t ready to fire and this one was always highly regarded. He is trying to win it in back to back years.

War of Will (6): Has become a completely different horse since switching to dirt but we will take a small shot against him as others have a chance to improve and we might have already seen his best.

.50 cent pick 4

2,4,8,10/ 1,2,3,7,8/ 2/ 6,8,10 = $30
