Rushing Fall Chasing History in Saturday’s $350,000 Coolmore Jenny Wiley

LEXINGTON, KY (April 10, 2019) – E Five Racing Thoroughbreds’ Rushing Fall, undefeated in three starts over the grass course at Keeneland, headlines a field of eight entered Wednesday for Saturday’s 31st running of the $350,000 Coolmore Jenny Wiley (G1) for fillies and mares going 1 1/16 miles.

The Coolmore Jenny Wiley, one of four stakes on Saturday’s 11-race program, will go as the 10th race with 6:12 p.m. ET post time. First post time Saturday is 1:05 p.m.

With wins during the 2017 Fall Meet in the JPMorgan Chase Jessamine (G3) and 2018 Appalachian (G2) Presented by Japan Racing Association (Spring) and Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Lane’s End (G1) (Fall), Rushing Fall is one of 28 horses that have three stakes victories at Keeneland. Only Wise Dan (seven) and Take Charge Lady (four) have won more.

Trained by Chad Brown, Rushing Fall will have two stablemates to contend with Saturday in her bid to stay perfect at Keeneland.

Brown, who swept the top three spots in last year’s running won by champion Sistercharlie (IRE), also entered Madaket Stables, Tom Coleman, Team Hanley and Elayne Stables’ multiple graded stakes winner Rymska (FR) and Martin Schwartz’s Grade 1-placed Onthemoonagain (FR).

Javier Castellano, who has ridden Rushing Fall in all seven of her starts, has the mount Saturday and will break from post position two.

Irad Ortiz Jr. will ride Rymska, who comes into the Coolmore Jenny Wiley off a victory in the Hillsborough (G2) at Tampa Bay Downs on March 9. She will break from post position four.

John Velazquez rides Onthemoonagain and will break from post position eight. She was third in the Hillsborough in her most recent start.

The field for the Coolmore Jenny Wiley, with riders and weights from the inside, is: Phantom Opening (Florent Geroux, 118 pounds), Rushing Fall (Castellano, 120), Princess Warrior (Brian Hernandez Jr., 118), Rymska (FR) (Ortiz Jr., 118), Goodyearforroses (IRE) (Albin Jimenez, 118), Bellavais (Julien Leparoux, 118), Got Stormy (Tyler Gaffalione, 118) and Onthemoonagain (FR) (Velazquez, 118).
