Friday’s Rainbow 6 Carryover Jackpot Climbs to $132,995

Positively Awesome, Half Brother to Jackson Bend Set for Debut

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for a sixth consecutive racing day Thursday at Gulfstream Park, producing a carryover jackpot of $132,995.94 for Friday’s card.

Multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $11,81824.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that days’ pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Friday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 5-10, kicked off by a $65,000 maiden test for 2-year-olds. Jacks or Better Farm’s Positively Awesome, a half-brother to multiple Grade 1-stakes winner Jackson Bend, headlines a field of eight and one also-eligible.

There will also be a Super Hi-5 Carryover of $1,485.70
