Gulfstream: Rainbow 6 Carryover Jackpot Grows to $203,322 for Sunday

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for an eighth consecutive racing day Saturday at Gulfstream Park, producing a carryover jackpot of $203,322.54 for Sunday’s card (First-race post time: 1:15 p.m.)
Multiple tickets with all six winners Saturday were each worth $464.48.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Sunday’s six-race sequence will span Races 6-11.
The Rainbow 6 sequence will be highlighted by a 1 1/16-mile optional claiming allowance in Race 10. Six of the eight entrants are stakes winners, including graded-stakes winners You’re to Blame. The Todd Pletcher-trained 5-year-old son of Distorted Humor captured the Greenwood Cup (G3) at Parx prior to closing out his 2018 campaign with a second-place finish in the Temperance Hill at Belmont. Graded-stakes winner Mr. Jordan and stakes winners Noble Drama, Salsa’s Return, He’s Bankable and Jay’s Way are also entered.
There will also be a Super Hi 5 carryover of $2,081.91.
