Race 7) Grade II Alysheba

Mckinzie (1): Just beat on a dirty head-bob in the Santa Anita Handicap; the cut back to 1 1/16th should help his cause.

Tom’s d’Etat (2): Only poor race was the Pegasus where the track was a very sloppy speed bias, I’m willing to give him another chance over a fast track.

Seeking the Soul (8): Did not fire in Dubai but deserves another chance over his home track where he has been in the trifecta 8 of 10 times.

Race 8) Grade I La Troienne

Teresa Z (7): Getting back to two turns should be right up this one’s alley, picking up Johnny V is an added bonus at a big number.

She’s a Julie (1): Re-found her form when winning the Bayakoa, she will be the one to run down in the stretch.

Golden Award (8): Ran a very uncharacteristic race last week but Mott comes back on two weeks rest which is unlike him so she must be doing fantastic.

Race 9) 16-2-7-1

Race 10) Grade II Twin Spires Turf Sprint

World of Trouble (6): Can run on turf, dirt anything; he will be tough to beat here and a likely single.

Undrafted (8): Has not been seen since last fall so it looks like trainer Ward is pointing here as a possible prep for Ascot. If the pace gets hot he will come running, but he’s getting up there in age now.

Bound for Nowhere (1): was run down in the Shakertown and will be forced to go from the inside post so World of Trouble doesn’t get lose.

Race 11) Grade I Kentucky Oaks

Serengeti Empress (13): Bled in the Fair Oaks Grounds but her best race can win here and she will be an overlay; her last workout was sensational.

Champagne Anyone (10): Should sit a great trip off the first wave of speed and get a jump on the deep closers.

Jaywalk (7): Third off the layoff she should be primed for a big effort for trainer John Servis who won this race with Cathryn Sophia.

Bellafina (4): She’s the one to beat and will be a short price but I don’t think she is a good bet here. Her numbers have not improved since she was a two year old.

Pick 5 Race 7

1,2,5,8,11/ 1,2,7,8 / 1,2,7,16/ 6 / 4,7,10,13= $160
