LAUREL, MD –Friday’s Stronach 5, highlighted by three turf races and four different tracks, had 26 winners, each receiving $5,094.70.
Friday’s sequence began at Gulfstream Park in Florida with Allurstra winning the eighth race and returning $29.40, and ending in California with the gray Confidentially winning the sixth race at Santa Anita Park and paying $11.40.
The national wager has an industry-low 12-percent takeout and a guaranteed pool of $100,000.

● Leg Two –Pimlico 9th Race – You Made It $5.60
● Leg Three – Gulfstream 9th Race – Rapid Transit $12.20
● Leg Four –Golden Gate 5th Race – Gee Street $8.40
● Leg Five – Santa Anita 6th Race – Confidentially $11.40
The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.
For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
