Belmont Park

Race 5) 7 Furlongs. Bed o’ Roses Invitational S. Grade III. Purse $250,000
AN INVITATIONAL FOR FILLIES AND MARES FOUR YEARS OLD AND UPWARD

Post Time: ( 2:58)/ 1:58/12:58/11:58

3) Chalon (Delacour/Castellano); fired fresh off the bench to take the Skipat on Black-Eyed Susan day. Dialed In mare has been in the money with 12-of-14 starts.

7) Separationofpowers (Brown/Ortiz, J.); 2018’s Grade 1 Test winner needed her last; Brown with seconds off the layoff and a beaten favorite, well above average conditioning angles.

2) Mybigitalianfriend (Servis/Ortiz, I.); off since a troubled trip last March at Gulfstream; trainer Servis also very strong in these spots.

1) Saguaro Row SCRATCHED; winner of two straight has been working lights out; Union Rags filly will factor in exotics.

4) Pacific Gale (Kimmel/Bravo); has placed in her last two ahead of a couple in here.

Selections: 3, 7, 2, 4

Race 8) 6½ Furlongs. True North S. Grade II. Purse $250,000 FOR FOUR-YEAR-OLDS AND UPWARD.
Post Time: ( 4:42)/ 3:42/ 2:42/ 1:42

7) Whitmore (Moquett/Santana); race fell apart last out in the G2 CD, this is just the spot this veteran needs; missed by a neck in this a year ago.

4) Nicodemus (Rice/Ortiz, J.); gutsy effort in taking the Westchester here last month; colt brings value.

10) Mr. Dougie Fresh (Servis/Lezcano); Ghostzapper gelding has been solid since arriving in the Servis barn winning and placing twice this year.

3) Catalina Cruiser (Sadler/Rosario); sent off as the favorite in the BC Dirt Mile he raced wide and finished well back; might just be a West Coast player.

Selections: 7, 4, 10, 3
